Click here to check your start time and here for the race briefing Ironman Austria Good luck to all those competing at Ironman Austria this Sunday (5th). Click here to check the latest news. This weekend's rides Thursday (25th) there will be a steady 26 mile ride from Princes Park starting at 18:30. On Sunday (28th) there will be ride again from Princes Park starting at 9:00. It will be slightly different from normal. Partisipants will be divided into teams with a selection of abilities on each team. The task will be to be the first complete team to arrive at The Beaver World Cafe at Tatsfield. Teams must select their own route, to get there in the quickest time. It may be better to go longer on the flat, or direct over the hills if you have a strong squad. It is aprox 22 miles to Tatsfield. Southwater Relays James Drain is organizing the teams for this year's Southwater Relays and needs details and £15 by Wednesday 17th June from anyone that wishes to be included. Swashbuckler Triathlon Congratulations to Michael Larrington (Peanut) on his finish and impressive time at the Swashbuckler Triathlon. Splits were: Swim 32:34, Bike 2:24:46 and Run 1:51:29. Marshman Triathlon Congratulations to all those that competed at the inorgrial Marshman Middle Distance Triathlon. The weather was terrible with high winds and driving rain. A special mention to Mark O'Brien who was competing in his first ever triathlon and Paul Foreman, Lara Hawkins, Carrie Hague and Bill Dineen who had only previously competed in sprints. Volunteers Required Researchers at the Centre for Sports Studies (University of Kent) are conducting research into a new design of pedal. Skiing By way of a change why not come skiing with the WOT group. The current venue favourite is Europe in February or early March. At present approx 7 people have expressed a definite interest.
